About Us
The Place for Everyone
For
over 125 years, the
YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg has provided thousands of children and
adults with programs
and services dedicated to personal growth and community
development.
The Y is best known for our work with youth and in promoting health, but we also provide opportunities for people to develop leadership skills, philanthropic attitudes and a global perspective – many of the tools needed for value-based personal development.
We are the province’s largest childcare provider and offer a rich learning experience of camp to 5,000 youth each year.
Our employment training and women’s programs are sought after by more than 4,000 people.
More importantly, the Y, and all that we offer, is accessible to everyone, regardless of ability to pay.
