The South YMCA-YWCA and has been an active and vibrant part of the south Winnipeg community since the 1950s.

Family Friendly
The family-friendly South YMCA-YWCA hosts a wide variety of health, fitness and recreation programs for people of all ages and abilities, as well as day camps, youth leadership programs, teen nights and family activities.

 Aquatic Centre and more
The newly renovated 49,000 square foot South Y offers an aquatic centre, with a 5 lane, 20 metre main pool, smaller and warmer family pool, 17 person hot tub, steam room, as well as 2 large water slides.

It also features a gymnasium, 10,000 square foot fitness centre and fitness studio, family activity centre and men's, women's and universal change rooms.

The wheelchair-accessible branch has a childcare centre, drop-in babysitting, senior adult day program, personal fitness services and several multi-purpose rooms for a variety of classes and activities.

Involved in the Community
Besides serving our individual and family members with healthy-living programs and activities, the South branch is also involved in many partnerships with families, schools, agencies and businesses within the community.
